3-Minute Rituals for Tired Mums
You don’t need an hour. You need a pause.
As mums, we’re taught to keep going.
Keep giving. Keep holding it all.
But sometimes, the most loving thing we can do—for our kids, our body, and our mind—is to stop. Just for a moment.
Here are three gentle rituals you can do in three minutes or less. No fancy tools. No perfect setting. Just presence.
1. The Grounding Breath
Sit.
One hand on your heart, one on your belly.
Inhale through your nose (count to 4), hold, exhale slowly.
Do it three times. Whisper: “This is enough for now.”
2. The Gratitude Glance
Look around your space.
Name three things that support you today.
A warm drink? A soft blanket? A quiet child moment?
Say thank you—even silently.
3. The Pocket Check-In
Ask yourself:
“What do I need more of right now?”
“What do I need less of?”Don’t fix anything. Just notice.
These rituals won’t erase exhaustion.
But they’ll remind you: you still exist. You still matter.
And that tiny moment of care might just ripple into your next hour.
Try one today—and tell me how it felt.
With love,
