3-Minute Rituals for Tired Mums

You don’t need an hour. You need a pause.

As mums, we’re taught to keep going.
Keep giving. Keep holding it all.
But sometimes, the most loving thing we can do—for our kids, our body, and our mind—is to stop. Just for a moment.

Here are three gentle rituals you can do in three minutes or less. No fancy tools. No perfect setting. Just presence.

1. The Grounding Breath

  • Sit.

  • One hand on your heart, one on your belly.

  • Inhale through your nose (count to 4), hold, exhale slowly.

  • Do it three times. Whisper: “This is enough for now.”

2. The Gratitude Glance

  • Look around your space.

  • Name three things that support you today.

  • A warm drink? A soft blanket? A quiet child moment?

  • Say thank you—even silently.

3. The Pocket Check-In

  • Ask yourself:
“What do I need more of right now?”
“What do I need less of?”

  • Don’t fix anything. Just notice.

These rituals won’t erase exhaustion.
But they’ll remind you: you still exist. You still matter.

And that tiny moment of care might just ripple into your next hour.

Try one today—and tell me how it felt.

With love,
Anna x
